Handmade pouch/bag made by Syrian Refugees using deadstock textiles sourced from one of the best fabric suppliers in Lebanon.
The wonderful free-flowing patterns on the front of each bag have been created using appliqué and reverse appliqué methods. The pattern represents the life-changing immigration journey each maker embarked on from Syria to Lebanon, in the hope of a new better life.
Each bag is finished with 2 small compartments and one large making it perfect to organise your knick-knacks, perfect for make-up, toiletries and travelling.
Working to support refugees
These travel bags have been created in collaboration with Master Peace, a unique program created by SAWA for development and aid dedicated to offering Syrian refugees artistic and sustainable forms of livelihood through empowering individuals.
